Romance
for two Violins and Piano

Romance was composed for the Wallace and Gromit Prom in 2012, performed by Tasmin Little and ‘Gromit’ the dog. This chamber version is for two violins and piano. The piece opens with a short cadenza from each violinist before the main Romantic theme is heard. There follows three contrasting variations before the main theme returns with both violinists. It is an unashamedly passionate and melodic work, in the grand Romantic tradition.

Duration: 4 mins
