Sergei Rachmaninoff - Piano Concerto No. 2
for Piano Solo and Chamber Orchestra

Rachmaninoff’s Second Piano Concerto is one of the most popular works in the repertoire, both with audiences and performers. It is a piece full of glorious melody, romantic emotion and thrilling virtuosity. This arrangement aims to create a full orchestral picture from a smaller ensemble, using only the instruments in Rachmaninoff’s score. It adds an intimacy to the performing and listening experience, as well as enabling this work to be performed in smaller venues without enormous financial constraints. The complete work is arranged without cuts.
