Let nothing disturb you
for SATB Choir

Let nothing disturb you is a setting of a 16th century poem by St Teresa of Ávila (translated to English). It was composed in May 2013 and premiered by Kingston Parish Church Choir.

Duration: 6'5 mins

Listen to a live performance here:

Let nothing disturb you (6'20)

Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things pass away,
God never changes.
Patience obtains everything.
Those who possess God lack nothing:
God alone suffices.

Nada te turbe,
Nada te espante;
Todo se pasa,
Dios no se muda.
La pacientia todo lo alcanza.
Quien a Dios tiene nada la falta:
Solo Dios basta.
