Edward Elgar - Nimrod
for Orchestra Elgar's 'Nimrod' is taken from his Enigma Variations, and is a tribute to Elgar's friend August Jaeger. It is a work of great emotional depth and has become frequently used on British national occasions. This arrangement for medium-sized orchestra was made for the Coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on 6th May 2023.
