Prelude on 'Gabriel's Message'

Prelude on 'Gabriel's Message' is a contemplative and expressive work, based on the familiar carol. It is technically straightforward with a simple pedal part, and is playable on any two manual organ. The work builds to a passionate middle section, before subsiding into a calm yet uneasy conclusion. It was composed in 2020, originally for string orchestra.
