Bizet's opera Carmen is one of the most popular in the repertoire, filled with music of memorable melody, Romantic passion and Spanish-style dances. Several instrumental suites from the opera have been made for all manner of ensembles, notably for orchestra. This seven movement suite is arranged for saxophone quartet and piano, and includes many of the most well-known movements from the opera.
