Information
Concert Duration - Programmes
are designed for approximately a 100 minute concert including a 20 minute
interval. The programmes can be altered for shorter lunchtime recitals
or AGM concerts. Please contact to discuss
programmes further.
Introductions - Social interaction with the audience is seen as an important part of
the concert experience. Iain presents the works in a friendly and accessible
manner, with clear spoken introductions.

Piano recitals with a theme
Iain Farrington has established himself as an expert and versatile pianist and is focused on achieving the highest professional performance. These recitals not only provide an opportunity to hear music of the great composers, but may form the basis of a social event - a cheese and wine evening, St George's Day celebration, or some lighter music for an AGM concert. The following five themed programmes are suggestions
for recitals. They are designed to be flexible, and individual programmes

at the Millennium Dome to celebrate Elgar's birthday, and
he will be performing his arrangement of Elgar/Payne Symphony
