Iain was Organ Scholar at
St John's College, Cambridge, and St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle. He regularly
gives solo recitals and accompanies choirs across the world.
Iain has made numerous
arrangements for organ, including Walton's Touch her soft lips and
part, which has been recorded on Naxos. Recently, two movements from
his organ suite Fiesta! have been recorded on the Hyperion label
by Christopher Herrick.

Repertoire
Iain has an extensive repertoire
for solo organ and choral accompaniments, ranging from the 17th to the
21st century. His passion lies in arranging and performing orchestral
and instrumental works for organ, for use in recitals. Follow this link for a full

Recordings
Iain has made four recordings on the Naxos and Nimbus labels: Britten Choral and Organ Works, Howells
Choral and Organ Works, Durufle Choral Works, Fear and Rejoice (Music for
Christmas and Advent). These include solo performances of Paean and Rhapsody No.3 (Howells), Prelude and Fugue on a theme of Vittoria (Britten). Iain has also broadcast Prelude, Adagio and Variations (Durufle) on BBC Radio 3. He has recorded extensively
with the BBC Singers, including works by Tippett, Duruflé, Robin Holloway,
Judith Weir. With the BBC Symphony Chorus he
has recorded Judith Bingham's The Secret Garden, and Elgar's The Spirit of England.
